In most cases,a shorter haircut takes less time to style in the mornings, and if you exercise a lot, plenty of our clients are choosing to take the plunge and get a “shorter cut”. Shorter hair means less hair, which means faster drying time, and less to work with. In some cases, depending on the style, you can even ‘wash and go’ and let the hair dry naturally. The ‘wash and go’ style usually works well with curly hair types. But, that is not to say that you need to go short to have really manageable hair. There are plenty of longer styles that we recommend, and again- we tailor each of our hairstyle cuts and restyles, to each individual client.
And when you’re getting a brand new look, expect to take as much as twice as long as the stylist needed at the salon in order to create the look at home. This is not due to your lack of ability, it takes time to get in the groove of styling your new restyle.
